UK investors continued to retreat from equity funds in September, withdrawing a net £858m, the 15th month of outflows in the last 16.
Key highlights from this month's FFI:

- UK-focused funds lost £708m, the 63rd month in the last 65 to see net selling
- US equity funds suffered their largest outflow since November 2025
- Global and emerging-market funds bucked the trend, attracting £410m and £133m respectively
- Bond funds drew £655m, led by £421m for high-yield strategies and increased interest in sovereign debt
- Money market inflows jumped to £417m, their highest since November
