In this session our panellists looked at the impact of today’s unique geo-political climate on each of their organisations. They discussed the way in which non-traditional, digitally-focussed investment providers are entering the asset management space, as well as how the traditional providers are evolving and reacting as competition increases. Distribution was also covered in detail; the challenges of navigating the fragmented regulatory environment across the region, the increasing need for personalised portfolios as well as the growing prevalence of micro investments.
